Sponsors and Vendors: ACUBE thanks our sponsors and vendors who will be joining us.  Meet them in the Cramer lounge throughout the meeting and at our Poster session/ Exhibitor fair to learn about their latest resources, technologies and tools.

Parking:  If you are driving to the conference, please park at Parking Structure 1 which is located at W. Wisconsin Ave and 16th Street (Walgreens in on the corner).  A daily parking pass is included with your conference registration.  You will need to take a parking ticket to enter the garage.  When you check-in at the meeting, we will give you two parking voucher “chaser” tickets that you will use upon exiting the garage on Friday and on Saturday.  You first insert your parking ticket followed by the parking voucher “chaser”.  This will allow you to exit without paying.

Hotel Shuttle:  For those staying at the DoubleTree hotel, the hotel will provide a shuttle to/from the meeting on Friday and to the meeting on Saturday.  The shuttle will leave from the front lobby at 8:30am on Friday and on Saturday and drop you off at Marquette’s campus near Cramer Hall.  The shuttle will also pick attendees up from the dinner banquet at the Italian Community Center on Friday at 8:30pm and drive them back to the hotel.

Carpool:  We are confident we will be able to arrange carpools to transport attendees without cars from campus to the dinner banquet on Friday.  We are not, however, organizing rides on Saturday night once the meeting concludes.  The distance from campus to the hotel is less than a mile and therefore an inexpensive Uber ride.

Weather:  As of now the forecast looks pleasant-  temperatures in the upper 50s and sunny- hope it stays this way.

Program:  The program will be posted to the ACUBE website (acube.org) early next week

Networking Events:  We have a number of fun networking events planned.  At the dinner banquet on Friday night, we will play team trivia and also have a fun get-to-know someone activity with prizes!  The field trips Saturday afternoon are a great way to explore Milwaukee with your fellow attendees and it’s not too late to sign up if you didn’t do so on Eventbrite.

Awards:  Consider submitting a practical teaching tip/activity/approach for the Out of this World Teaching Idea Prize- details will be announced on Friday.

Presenting:  If you are presenting, please bring your presentation on a flash drive to use the desktop computer that is hooked up to the projector.  Alternatively you may bring your own laptop and cable to hook up to the projector.  Note that the transition time between presenters is brief.  You are responsible for bringing any handouts you would like to provide.

For those presenting posters, please bring your poster on Saturday.  Posters should be 36 x 48 inches.  We will provide a poster stand and pushpins.
