Graduate students pursuing a Master’s or Ph.D. in the biological sciences who intend to teach college biology are encouraged to apply for grants through ACUBE from the Carlock Award Fund. Individuals are expected to travel with a current ACUBE member and present a talk or poster. The award pays up to $200 to be used for meeting expenses.
While we appreciate the value of students presenting their scientific research at any venue, note that student presentations at ACUBE meetings should be geared towards educational research, assessment, or ideas. Students presenting on their scientific research will not be eligible for the Carlock Award.
Applications are due by the registration deadline (which in 2014 is August 15th) and should be sent via email to the ACUBE President (email@example.com).
